As well as gifting fans his brand new single with Myles Smith, ‘Blink Twice’, today (Friday, April 11th), Shaboozey has revealed that he'll be releasing a deluxe version of his widely celebrated 2024 album, Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going.
When we tuned into Apple Music this morning to put ‘Blink Twice’ on repeat, we were pleasantly surprised to find a pre-release for the full expanded project, rather than a standalone single. Since then, we got the official announcement from Shaboozey that The Complete Edition of the album will be dropping on April 25th.

Excitingly, aside from Myles Smith, Where I've Been Isn't Where I'm Going: The Complete Edition features two additional star-studded collaborations with Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell.
Shaboozey and Ferrell were spotted in the studio shortly after attending the Grammys in February, with fans speculating that they might have a blockbuster link-up on the way. Thankfully, it's now been confirmed the duo have joined forces, with ‘Hail Mary’ appearing on Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going: The Complete Edition.

Jelly Roll, meanwhile, guests on ‘Amen’. Given the title and Jelly's penchant for faith-inspired, soul-stirring anthems, we suspect this might find the two artists trading verses about their relationship with God - but we'll have to wait for the full version to find out. Heartwarmingly, Shaboozey and Jelly Roll were filmed singing along to Post Malone and Morgan Wallen's ‘I Had Some Help’ back on New Year's Eve, with Shaboozey also opening up for Jelly during his Backroad Baptism tour last year.
Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going: The Complete Edition also features never-heard-before tracks ‘Fire And Gasoline’ and ‘Chrome’, along with November's ‘Good News’.
During his recent interview with Holler, Shaboozey hinted there was a deluxe record in the works, with the ‘Last Of My Kind’ crooner sharing, “There's no album currently in the works, but there's definitely something that we're going to give the fans soon. With how successful and how iconic the last project was, I think it's only right that we give that a little bit of something else, and add a little something to that”.
We'll have to wait and see what vibe and style the ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ singer-songwriter has given the other unreleased tracks - but regardless of the specifics, given how infectious ‘Blink Twice’ with Myles Smith is, April 25th can't come soon enough.
