As his stock continues to rise, Riley Green has once again claimed the top spot with his sizzling summer heater, "Worst Way."
Fans have been in a frenzy since Green dropped the steamy track on his Don't Mind If I Do album in 2024. Paired with a barely-safe-for-work music video, the song quickly went Platinum and now tops the Billboard Country Airplay chart—marking his fifth No. 1 at country radio.
A clear departure from earlier No. 1s like 'There Was This Girl,' 'Worst Way' is all Southern heat and late-night longing. Green leans fully into his recently embraced status as country music’s newest sex symbol—and he wears it with style.
He’s been flirting with this blues-soaked sound for a minute now, with tracks like 'Change My Mind' hinting at the shift. If anything, 'Worst Way' signals that Green might just be charting a new course with this sultrier sound - and I can't argue that its sounding pretty damn good.
Green’s latest No. 1 in the U.S. comes as “Worst Way” tops radio charts across the UK, Canada, and the Mediabase Airplay Chart stateside—proof that his appeal is growing as much internationally as it is at home.
The wave of global chart-toppers arrives just as Green announces the second edition of his own Duckman Jam concert. Officially set for November in Little Rock, AR, the event will feature Jamey Johnson, Drake White, and Holler favorite Lauren Watkins.
In true Duckman fashion, $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Ducks Unlimited, supporting wetlands and wildlife conservation across North America—an effort close to Green’s heart.
Amid new shows and chart milestones, Green is also knee-deep in his Damn Country Music 2025 tour. He’s hitting cities across the U.S. in August before heading overseas for a UK and Ireland run, including three sold-out nights in London.
He’s set to close out the year in style, with a two-night stand at Resorts World in Las Vegas during National Finals Rodeo weekend.
If 2024 raised Riley Green’s star, 2025 looks set to launch it sky-high—and we all just get the pleasure of tagging along for the ride.
