Post Malone surprised his packed-out Ford Field Stadium crowd in Detroit, Michigan last night (Sunday, May 18th) by bringing out BigXthaPlug for an electric rendition of ’Texas’.

The live-wire anthem appears on the rap phenom's lauded 2023 record, Amar, and remains one of BigXthaPlug's most celebrated earworms. Post danced along throughout the energising performance, but mainly sat back and let BigX take the spotlight.

The two artists are believed to be working on a new joint track for BigXthaPlug's long-teased new country EP, with Post spotted in the studio seemingly crafting a song with both BigX and his ’Devil I've Been’ collaborator ERNEST in February.

It follows BigXthaPlug's much-loved new single, the viral ‘All The Way’ with Bailey Zimmerman, which arrived back in April and has been racking up the streams in recent weeks.

Along with Post Malone and Bailey Zimmerman, BigXthaPlug's genre-blending new project is also expected to feature contributions from Luke Combs, Shaboozey and Jelly Roll.

Earlier in the evening, Post Malone's Big Ass Stadium Tour opener, Jelly Roll brought out Eminem to perform his iconic hit, ’Lose Yourself’, with both Post and Jelly ensuring the buzz and excitement around their blockbuster run of shows remains sky-high.
