Parker McCollum treated the raucous Nissan Stadium crowd on Day Two of CMA Fest 2024 to a stunning rendition of his brand new unreleased song, ’Big Ol’ Fancy House’.
The intricate, forlorn track is expected to feature on the Texas hitmaker's forthcoming album, alongside other previously teased songs such as ‘I Don't Want to Be a Cowboy Tonight’, ‘Hope That I'm Enough’, ‘As Far As I Can Tell’ and ‘Every Move You Make’.
Parker first shared ‘Big Ol’ Fancy House’ as a Holler exclusive, with the ‘Pretty Heart’ singer-songwriter performing an acoustic rendition of the track following his interview in February.
Parker's fiery Nissan Stadium performance also included spine-tingling takes on hits such as ‘Burn It Down’, ‘To Be Loved By You’, ‘Young Man's Blues’ and ‘Handle On You’, with the chart-topping crooner showcasing his faultless, sleek vocals across each track.
‘Big Ol’ Fancy House’ received an electric, energising boost at the Nissan Stadium, compared to the comparatively intricate rendition Parker McCollum shared previously.
The new arrangement hints that Parker's readying a studio version of the captivating song, with ‘Big Ol’ Fancy House’ set to epitomise his keenness to return to the sparseness and rawness of his earlier records for his next album, as he outlined to Holler.
