For his final show of Morgan Wallen's One Night At A Time tour in North Carolina, fans had been speculating as to which special guests he had up his sleeve for his signature walk-out.

Endearingly, rather than calling up an A-list star, as he has done in recent months with the likes of Mike Tyson, Hulk Hogan, Tom Brady and more, Morgan Wallen decided to give the show a sheen of intimacy as he invited his band to do the walk-out with him.

Usually, his band-members storm onto the stage to amp up the crowd with a raucous instrumental, before Morgan Wallen bursts through the wooden ‘MW’ sign and launches into ‘Up Down’.

As the energising intro to Morgan Wallen's Lil Durk collaboration, ‘Broadway Girls’, filtered through the speakers in Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium, the Jumbotron lit up to show the ‘You Proof’ hitmaker and his crew. All were brandishing celebratory cigars, in honour of this being the final date on their One Night At A Time run.

During the performance, Morgan Wallen revealed that this had become the highest grossing country tour in history. Now, with no more dates on the books, it looks like the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter is preparing for his next musical chapter.

With the release of his new single, ‘Love Somebody’, on Friday (October 18th), it seems Morgan's One Thing At A Time follow-up album might be looming tantalisingly on the horizon.

Elsewhere in his set, Morgan Wallen treated the packed-out Bank of America Stadium crowd to live-wire renditions of ‘Last Night’, ‘Whiskey Glasses’, ’More Than My Hometown’ and ‘7 Summers’, as well as stripping things back for strikingly intricate performances of fan-favourite ballads, such as ‘Sand in My Boots’ and ‘Cover Me Up’.
