Morgan Wallen Teases Release Date for ‘20 Cigarettes’ Music Video - Could We Be Getting a 2026 Tour Announcement Too?

Morgan Wallen's official Instagram fan-account, Club Wallen, has shared a cryptic photo of a pack of cigarettes, with followers speculating that this is a clue as to the release date for the Sneedville megastar's forthcoming ‘20 Cigarettes’ music video.

Fans were quick to spot that there are five cigarettes in the box, which appears to be a hint that the music video - which Wallen has been teasing in recent weeks - could be dropping in five days’ time. By our calculations, this would be Monday, October 20th.

Aptly, this would coincide with the date Wallen and his team are sending ‘20 Cigarettes’ to Country Radio. It would make sense to give an added boost of momentum to the song's first-day adds by dropping the official music video at the same time.

It's an infectious ode to a night of romance, which cleverly pivots around the core image of a dwindling pack of cigarettes, which the couple smoke over the course of the evening.

Towards the end of his 2025 I'm the Problem Tour, the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter confirmed that he'd recorded a music video for ‘20 Cigarettes’. Then, at the start of October, Wallen surprised us by dropping the dramatic visuals for ‘I Got Better’, which served as his previous Country Radio single, instead.

However, at the end of that video, Wallen hops into the cab of a truck, and lights up a cigarette, which makes us think the ‘20 Cigarettes’ visuals will be a sequel of sorts to the ‘I Got Better’ narrative. We also suspect there's at least one other music video, involving some sort of car crash, for either ‘Number 3 and Number 7’ with Eric Church or ‘I Ain't Coming Back’ with Post Malone, coming soon too.

Some fans have taken Club Wallen's new teaser as an indication that we might be getting more than just a music video, particularly as the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper continues to suggest across his socials that he's gearing up to unveil a 2026 tour.

Just this week, Wallen shared some photos of him enjoying his time off, with the tongue-in-cheek caption, “What I do when I’m trying to decide if ima tour in ‘26 or not”.

We think this pretty much confirms that he will be touring in 2026, and we're wondering if Club Wallen's cigarettes photo could be hinting at a countdown to a tour reveal, as well as the ‘20 Cigarettes’ music video. Some fans have even suggested it could be pointing towards a deluxe version of I'm the Problem, featuring the long-teased extended version of ‘Interlude’ - possibly with a Drake feature...?

We'll have to wait and see whether Club Wallen shares another photo today with just four cigarettes - but either way, it seems there are plenty of exciting things in store before the year draws to a close for the country titan's loyal Wallenteer fanbase.
