As the sense of anticipation continues to build ahead of Morgan Wallen's brand new single, ’Love Somebody’, the Sneedville megastar has shared the song's official YouTube preview video.

The one-minute clip of the studio version of ‘Love Somebody’ allows listeners to hear the first verses and hook of the keenly awaited song, which drops in full on Friday, October 18th.

Morgan Wallen announced the ‘Love Somebody’ release date during his momentous Neyland Stadium double-header of shows in September in Knoxville, Tennessee. To say it's been a long time coming would be an understatement, given the fact that Morgan first teased the uptempo offering back in mid-May.

Interestingly, it seems the official cover for ‘Love Somebody’ has been adjusted at the last minute. Earlier in October, the artwork was unveiled across socials and via the Universal Music pre-save link, with the cover featuring Morgan Wallen staring off into a sunset.

Now, however, the image on the ‘Love Somebody’ pre-save link and the new YouTube preview video has changed, with Morgan omitted from the artwork and the neon-tinted, disco-themed font replaced by a retro stencil-based, typewriter style.

‘Love Somebody’ serves as the second official single to be made available from Morgan Wallen's highly anticipated new album, which is yet to be given a release date or tracklist. Nonetheless, the arrival of ’Love Somebody’, which follows July's ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’, is a clear signal that the rollout for the forthcoming project is picking up pace, with Morgan expected to announce the record in the coming weeks.

Some are speculating that the two single covers could be a hint that ‘Love Somebody’ is the name of Morgan Wallen's One Thing At A Time follow-up album. Perhaps the old artwork is being used as the cover for the album as a whole, and Morgan and his team have therefore decided to save that for the project's official announcement.

This is just conjecture at this point, though, but ‘Love Somebody’ would undoubtedly be a strong contender for Morgan Wallen's new album title. Alongside ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’ and ’Love Somebody’, the project is believed to feature previously teased tracks, ‘I Guess’, ‘Come Back as a Redneck’ and ‘Good to See You Smile’.
