Morgan Wallen has shared a new live version of his latest single, ‘Love Somebody’, which was recorded during the second night of his momentous Neyland Stadium double-header.

Although one of the Sneedville megastar's more laid-back, breezy offerings, Morgan still manages to inject an additional level of energy into his performance of the track. Striding across the iconic Neyland Stadium stage, the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter wraps his signature drawl around the heartbroken lyrics.

The scenes of Morgan Wallen performing ‘Love Somebody’ are interspersed with atmospheric clips of his band and impressive birds-eye-view shots of the packed-out Neyland Stadium.

The intention behind the timing of this ‘Live From Neyland Stadium’ version of ‘Love Somebody’ appears to be to help give the track an extra boost as it vies for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Earlier in the week, Morgan's team offered a discount on digital purchases of the single, which will have provided another jolt of momentum.

At the moment, ‘Love Somebody’ is projected to narrowly beat out Shaboozey's ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)‘, which currently ties Morgan Wallen's 2023 smash, ‘Last Night’, as the longest-running Hot 100 No. 1 of the decade so far. If ‘Love Somebody’ triumphs next week, it will block ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)‘ from breaking Morgan's record.

Given how many camera angles are on offer during the new ‘Love Somebody (Live From Neyland Stadium)’ video, and the fact that Morgan Wallen's two-year One Night At A Time tour has just been crowned the highest-selling country tour in history, some suspect the ‘Last Night’ hitmaker might have a full live album up his sleeve.

There have seemingly been additional cameras throughout Morgan Wallen's shows this year, and while these could simply be for the Jumbotron or Morgan's social media videos, perhaps he has been recording either a live project or a documentary. If either suggestion comes to fruition, we certainly won't be complaining.

It definitely feels as though this momentous One Night At A Time era, which has seen Morgan Wallen cementing himself as the biggest country artist in the today's landscape - as well as one of the most popular artists, regardless of genre - warrants some kind of concluding project or keepsake for fans to toast this game-changing stretch, similarly to how Noah Kahan put a bow round his Stick Season run with his Live From Fenway Park record. If Morgan Wallen opts for something in this style, then maybe - if there is a live album - it was captured entirely at Neyland Stadium, with these two shows being particularly special for Morgan.

Right now, this is all conjecture, but as we look forward to seeing what Morgan Wallen's next chapter holds, in the meantime, we'll be playing this live version of ‘Love Somebody’ on repeat.
