It's amazing the story one pack of cigarettes can tell.
Morgan Wallen has officially cemented that narrative in video form, the country superstar unveiling the visual accompaniment to his I'm The Problem hit, '20 Cigarettes.'
In his new music video, fans witness as the 'You Proof' hitmaker's love life flashes by cigarette after cigarette, each dart from the pack telling a tale of steamy summer nights and truck bed rendezvous.
While the song recounts one fateful night with a lover, the video seems to portray a series of late night soirees in which Wallen plays the role of aimless playboy. As the three-minute-long video unfolds, viewers can see the star lighting up with a number of women, only to end up alone come the visual's final few seconds.
The '20 Cigarettes' music video closely follows the artist's 'I Got Better' visual, which dropped earlier this month. In that release, Wallen can be seen portraying a wounded driver, bloodied from a severe car accident. The wreckage, and his subsequent injuries, act as a metaphor for a relationship's vicious demise.
Throughout the visual, however, the singer is shown healing in real time, his outward wounds fading as his heart begins to mend.
These two videos seems to merely be the tip of the iceberg. Wallen has been teasing a number of cinematic stills across social media and throughout his North American tour that hint at a much bigger story just waiting to be told.
