Following the immense success of his blockbuster Post Malone collaboration, ‘I Had Some Help’, Morgan Wallen has now surpassed Taylor Swift and Roddy Ricch to become the artist with the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this decade.
‘I Had Some Help’ has notched its fourth week at the pinnacle of the Hot 100, with Morgan Wallen also spending more weeks than any other artist in the top spot last year thanks to the unrivalled success of his electric, beat-driven anthem, ‘Last Night’.
Previously, Morgan Wallen had been tied with fellow chart titans Taylor Swift and Roddy Ricch with 18 weeks spent at No. 1 in the 2020s, but with this latest week racked up at the Hot 100 peak with ‘I Had Some Help’, Morgan has surged into the lead.
Given the fact that Morgan is currently readying his long-awaited new single, ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’, for a July 4th release, it seems likely he'll be spending more weeks at No. 1 next month.
The ‘I Wrote The Book’ singer-songwriter has a dizzying array of viral hits-in-waiting in his formidable arsenal of unreleased tracks, with Morgan Wallen continuing to tease fan-favourites such as ‘I Guess’, ‘Come Back as a Redneck’ and ‘Love Somebody’.
Both are expected to feature on Morgan Wallen's forthcoming album, and after the domination enjoyed by his previous record, One Thing At A Time - which still sits within the Top Five of the Billboard 200, over a year after its release - it's safe to assume Morgan will be extending his record-breaking Hot 100 run in the months to come.
