“My Fellow Dog-Loving, Country Music Soul Sister”: Miranda Lambert Pays Tribute to Ella Langley Following Explosive ‘Kerosene’ Performance

Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley might just be one of our favourite country duos this year, with the powerhouses continuing to show love to one another on socials following their explosive, electric ‘Kerosene’ performance at the 2025 ACM Awards.

Taking to Instagram, Miranda Lambert has paid tribute to Ella Langley with a flurry of new photos of the duo together. Alongside the social media carousel, Lambert has endearingly gushed, “My fellow dog-loving, country music soul sister @ellalangleymusic y’all”. Langley has heartwarmingly commented in response, “I love youuuuu”.

The two have become good friends in recent months, with Lambert surprising Langley with the news that she had been crowned the 2025 ACM New Female Aritst of the Year in late April, via a sweet Jumbotron broadcast during the latter's show in Tennessee.

During their fiery, rock-tinged performance of Miranda Lambert's iconic 2005 anthem, ‘Kerosene’, on the ACM Awards stage earlier in the month, Ella Langley tipped her cap to Lambert's signature look from that year by donning her ‘Mama Tried’ shirt.

Miranda Lambert has regularly emphasised her appreciation for how Ella Langley shares her mission of helping rescue dogs across the US, with Lambert spearheading this charge through her transformative MuttNation non-profit organisation.

With Miranda Lambert joining forces with a couple of fellow female country titans, Reba McEntire and Lainey Wilson, for the traditional-leaning new single, ‘Trailblazer’, we're hoping it's not too long before we get to enjoy Lambert teaming up with another female country trailblazer, Ella Langley, in the studio for a country-rock smash.
