"What's in a name?" Juliet once lamented of her love Romeo. We should ask ourselves the same when it comes to country-Americana stalwarts Mike and the Moonpies. Now that they have dubbed themselves a new moniker, does a band by any other name ... smell as sweet, or whatever?

As the new year dawned, so did a new Mike and the Moonpies, the 'Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em' ensemble rebranding themselves as Silverada. Now, they are officially embarking on this next chapter with an album of the same name.

Silverada, set for release on June 28, will see the group delivering the boldest record of their decades-long career, fitted with some of their most inventive sounds and songwriting to date.

With the album's announcement, the band have offered a sample of what to expect, releasing the glimmering country-rock opus 'Anywhere But Here'.

"A decade after getting priced out of Austin while chasing my dreams of music stardom, I moved to another small town much like I grew up in," frontman Mike Harmeier exclusively told Holler of the track. "Raising a family here where my son knows the family names and the clerk at the corner grocery, gives me hope that there is still refuge for people with small town hearts and big city dreams. 'Anywhere But Here' is our nod to progression through generations with respect to the past".

This new iteration of the Austin, Texas-formed outfit has been a longtime coming. They are a different band from the one that first stepped on the scene in 2007. "We had different aspirations back then," Harmeier shared of the change. "We were still figuring out what kind of band we were gonna be, and that took a lot of time and a lot of records".

With Silverada, Harmeier, alongside drummer Taylor Englert, guitarist Catlin Rutherford, bassist Omar Oyoque and steel guitarist Zachary Moulton, are making changes for the better, making plans for something bigger than ever before.
