"I’m Sending U Love & Hugs": Megan Moroney Shares the Heartwarming Official Fan Video for 'Beautiful Things'

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Except we wouldn't have heard a mouse stirring even if there had been one because we were too busy blasting Megan Moroney and bawling our eyes out.

On Christmas Eve we turned off the Netflix fire for the night so we could watch the 'Tennessee Orange' singer's heartwarming new official fan video for her latest single 'Beautiful Things' on repeat, as she gave her fans a little early Christmas gift ahead of her new album, Cloud 9, which is due out in February.

"On the 9th day of cloudmas… the official music video for beautiful things featuring YOU is out now on YouTube 🥹😍🩷☁️9️⃣💕💓💗💞" Megan Moroney shared on Christmas Eve, alongside a comforting message for any of her fans who might have been struggling with their mental health this holiday season.

"thinking of y’all this Christmas 💕 i know the holidays can bring a lot of different feelings so wherever you are + whatever you’re carrying i’m sending u love & hugs," she added.

The video, made up of clips that fans had sent into her, had originally been trailed at the end of November, when the singer asked fans to send in videos of themselves and the "beautiful things" that inspire them.

"dedicated to my fans and all of your beautiful things," reads a caption at the beginning of the video before a triptych of submitted video clips showing everything from ponies and sunsets to proposals and cartwheels begins playing out across the screen.

"it’s been a month since i released beautiful things & seeing the way y’all connect with this song has been so special 💘🩷💕 ," Moroney had originally posted on 28 November.

"i’m making a music video featuring all of you!!! go to the link in my bio & submit any clip that feels like love, light, home or hope for a chance to be included in the official video 🩷 whether it’s memories with your favorite people or landscapes of your favorite place… i wanna see them all :,) love yaaa."

The resulting video is the perfect accompaniment to the gently reassuring empowerment anthem that's become a firm fan favourite since it was released in October.

Played for the first time live at her show in Charleston, South Carolina, on her Am I Okay? Tour, Megan Moroney debuted her long awaited, ‘Beautiful Things’.

Before the song, Moroney noted that she wrote it with her niece in mind. “When she was born, I remember just looking at her and being like, ‘She’s so perfect’,” Moroney shared, “and I just never want anything sad to happen to her.”

The song will feature on Megan Moroney's forthcoming album, Cloud 9, when its released on 20 February 2026, alongside previous single '6 Months Later' as she prepares for her most joyful era yet.

“I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together," she shared. "Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet”.
