Megan Moroney Drops Stacked ‘Cloud 9’ Tracklist, Featuring Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves

Megan Moroney has surprised us with the long-awaited tracklist for her brand new album, Cloud 9, which is set to arrive on February 20th, 2026. In a new teaser trailer, the ‘Tennessee Orange’ hitmaker has confirmed the highly anticipated record will feature two bucket-list collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves.

Sheeran appears on ‘I Only Miss You’, a track they co-wrote with Mackenzie Carpenter, Ben Williams and Micah Carpenter, while Musgraves guests on ‘Bells & Whistles’.

Moroney has long cited both Sheeran and Musgraves and key influences on her music, and fans had been speculating as to whether Moroney and Sheeran might had linked up for Cloud 9, after they performed together at both the Bluebird Cafe and at a New York pop-up more recently. In the past, Sheeran has championed Moroney's Am I Okay? record as a permanent fixture for he and his wife, Cherry.

Alongside these star-studded duets, Cloud 9 will include the longstanding fan-favourites, ‘Wedding Dress’ - which was first teased during the rollout for Moroney's debut album, Lucky - and ‘Table For Two’. Moroney first shared the latter in January 2025.

In addition, there are a host of never-heard-before offerings to look forward to next month, including ‘Medicine’, ‘Stupid’, ‘Convincing’, ‘Who Hurt You?’, ‘Wish I Didn't’, ‘Waiting on the Rain’ and the curiously titled, ‘Bars & Tigers & Bears’, which appears to be a play on the classic Wizard Of Oz quote about Lions and Tigers and Bears’.

These newly unveiled tracks join the already-released singles, ‘6 Months Later’ and ‘Beautiful Things’. As suspected, Moroney's titanic, CMA-nominated collaboration with Kenny Chesney, ‘You Had To Be There’, will not feature, with this anthem seemingly being treated as a standalone single, or perhaps a deluxe bonus track.

Either way, this new announcement - delivered via a brilliant video of Moroney stepping out of a Cloud 9-pink airplane and gazing up at the sky, to see the tracklist written in smoke - ensures the excitement is through the roof ahead of the Georgia native's third album. We're keeping our fingers crossed we might get another single or two in the coming weeks, before the full project drops on February 20th...
