Megan Moroney is keeping the easter eggs flowing, with the ’Tennessee Orange’ hitmaker directing fans attention towards her birthday - October 9th - in a few short days.

It's not yet clear what exactly the Georgia native has up her sleeve, but with Moroney continuing to confirm in various Red Carpet interviews that her third album is completed, we suspect the official announcement might be dropping on October 9th.

In a new Instagram carousel paying tribute to her recent double-header at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, Moroney can be seen sitting with her legs outstretched over one of the seats. This seems innocent enough, but when you zoom in and see the seat number she has her feet next to - 109 - it becomes apparent that she's reiterating that something major is coming on 10/9, aka October 9th.

Similarly, Moroney has been using her recent Instagram captions to emphasise the importance of the number nine. Just last week, for instance, the ‘Heaven By Noon’ singer-songwriter reflected on her blockbuster Red Rocks Amphitheatre show by pointedly writing, ‘THANK YOUUUUUUUUU’ with nine ‘U’s. Moroney has done the same with a range of emojis and phrases over the past month or so.

We noted down all the nine-themed references Moroney has dropped so far in this all-encompassing piece, and while we don't yet know for sure what she's about to unveil on October 9th - which aptly doubles up as her birthday - we can't wait to find out.

Judging by the singles she's released so far - ’You Had To Be There’ with Kenny Chesney and ‘6 Months Later’ - we think it's safe to say this next era in Moroney's stellar catalogue already feels as though it could take things to a whole other level. We'll be keeping our eyes peeled on October 9th to see what's in store.
