On Saturday (July 26), Megan Moroney performed a record-breaking headline show at Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo in Wyoming.
As well as being a personal record for Moroney, she also made Cheyenne Frontier Days history. Her performance saw a record number of tickets sold for a female artist, meaning that over 20,400 fans were in attendance for her show.
Posting some of her highlights on social media, the ‘6 Months Later’ singer captioned them, “not my first rodeo but definitely my biggest 🕺🏼🤠 thank you sososooo much @chefrontierdays”.
Her comments section was full of love and support from the emo cowgirl sisterhood, including friend and co-writer, Jessie Jo Dillon, who posted, “ilysmmmmmmmmmmmm”.
Moroney has shared the Cheyenne Frontier Days stage with some big names in the country music space this year and appears to be the only female headliner. Artists like Luke Bryan, Cody Johnson and Moroney’s number one fan, Bailey Zimmerman, have all headlined the event in 2025. Priscilla Block is the only other female to have been billed on the line up, supporting Luke Bryan on July 24.
Moroney’s Am I Okay? Tour continues through the summer with sold out shows across the US while we eagerly await more information about her next album.
