Max McNown, Avery Anna and Cameron Whitcomb have joined forces for a hilarious skit, with the country trio showing off their acting skills in the newly shared social media clip.

The curtain opens on Max McNown and Avery Anna casually strolling through a park, with McNown preparing to introduce Anna to Cameron Whitcomb. Anna asks, “I'm so excited to meet him. Is he actually cool in person?”, to which McNown responds, “He's a pretty awesome dude. But real quick, just don't mention anything about his hair, alright? Because he gets super unconscious about that stuff”.

Avery Anna assumes this was an amusing malapropism, querying, “Don't you mean ‘self-conscious’?”, before the ‘A Lot More Free’ hitmaker teasingly warns her, “You'll see”.

Then, the duo stumble across Cameron Whitcomb, who's perched on a fallen tree in the distance. As he and Avery Anna greet each other for the first time, the latter ignores Max McNown's advice and immediately gushes, “I love your buzzcut!” Whitcomb mutters, “Oh”, and flops to the ground, with an exasperated McNown holding out his hands and grumbling to Anna, “I told you that was gonna happen!”

You hopefully already know how much we love wordplay here at Holler (and if you don't, this Best Country Music Puns Playlist might convince you...), so this skit is right up our street.

In the comments section, Max McNown has playfully paid tribute to Cameron Whitcomb's performance in the video, “I agreed to this skit to see how hard Cam would sell the part… I fear he ate”, before giving credit to the viral, Eminem-impersonating comedian, DTG, for filming it, “Shot by iPhone… and also @realdtg”.

Often, when country artists attempt to do sketches on social media, it can fall flat or feel a tad cringe, but Max McNown, Avery Anna and Cameron Whitcomb have judged this one perfectly. We're hoping it's not the last time we see these three prodigies together - and perhaps this clip is a hint that there's a collaboration en route...
