Since its release on July 25, Luke Combs’ new song, ‘Back In The Saddle,’ has been added to country radio a whopping 155 times, making it the biggest impact date of his career.
The ‘Beautiful Crazy’ singer has been quiet since his last album, Fathers and Sons, which he released in 2024, telling fans: “I just had to do this project because being a dad to my boys has been the main thing on my mind lately."
He’s also taken this year off touring and spent the summer only playing festivals across the US to allow him some invaluable family time. However, with the five-week UK Country Radio No. 1 ‘Backup Plan’ with Bailey Zimmerman under his belt, Combs is back with an electric summer hit.
‘Back In The Saddle’ marks Combs’ re-emergence as he urges fans to not worry about where he’s been, but know that he’s back–and the receipts are in the volume of country radio adds.
The smash hit also has an iconic music video to sit alongside it. Featuring NASCAR drivers Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt Jr., the video delivers high octane energy to match the inimitable comeback song.
