Logan Mize has released the video for new single ‘Practice Swing’.
The video paints the picture of a reckless teenage heart navigating a coming-of-age journey. Speaking of the song, Mize says, “The thing that songwriting afforded me was to remain a kid at heart, I’ve been fortunate to have enough success to keep that spirit alive”.
The song is taken from Mize’s most recent album Still That Kid, which came out earlier this year via Big Yellow Dog and has already surpassed 50 million streams across all platforms.
The song was written by chart-topping songwriter Randy Montana (Luke Combs, Carly Pearce, Jon Pardi) and Blake Chaffin (Brent Cobb, Rodney Atkins, Brantley Gilbert) and is one of many on the album that celebrates life in small town America.
Mize, originally from Clearwater, Kansas is an accomplished country singer-songwriter who has toured America and Europe.
Music is in his blood as his great uncle was Billy Mize, the man who is largely credited for crafting and evolving the legendary Bakersfield sound, which included musical pioneers Merle Haggard and Buck Owens.
