Larry Fleet has shared the tracklist for his eagerly awaited third album, which is set to include 21 tracks, including previously released singles such as ‘Young Buck’ and ‘Try Texas’.
The heartwarming ‘Daddy Don't Drink’ has also made the cut, alongside one of the many fan-favourites that appeared on Larry Fleet's much-loved 2022 live project, ‘Muddy Water’. ‘Muddy Water’ premiered on Holler back in August 2022, so we're glad to see it getting a well-deserved official release at long last.
Excitingly, in tandem with the tracklist reveal, Larry Fleet announced he'll be releasing “a few” of the songs from the upcoming project this Friday (July 28), although he's yet to confirm which tracks will be featuring on this album sampler.
Regardless, judging by the tracklist, fans are in store for an array of never-heard-before songs from the Tennessee crooner, including ‘Beer Needs A Beer’, ‘Devil Music’ and ‘Much To Talk About’.
It seems many songs will follow in the faith-filled, soul-stirring footsteps of Fleet's break-out hit, ‘Where I Find God’, with the tracklist including titles such as ‘Lord Willing’, ‘Angels Were Gone’ and ‘Ain't Mad at Jesus’. ‘Something He'd Say’ could also be a tip of Fleet's tattered ball-cap to Jesus, or it could possibly be a tribute to his father.
This will be the singer-songwriter's first full-length studio album since he dropped his widely acclaimed Stack of Records project in 2021, with listeners having to survive off the scraps of a smattering of singles and his Live Sessions, Vol. 1 project since then.
Now, though, Larry Fleet is thankfully treating fans to a wealth of new material - and he'll hopefully be confirming the album's release date sooner rather than later.
