Lainey Wilson is among the megastars gracing the upcoming Twisters movie soundtrack, one that has recruited some of country music's finest. On Thursday (June 20), fans will finally get to hear her contribution to the impending summer blockbuster score.
Until then, the 'Watermelon Moonshine' star has offered a taste of what to expect from the stormy silver screen hit, dubbed 'Out of Oklahoma.' In a post on social media, she previewed a snippet of the billowy song, one that's rife with state pride, and showed off a bit of its accompanying music video.
'Out of Oklahoma' joins previously released Twisters tunes like Luke Combs' 'Ain't No Love in Oklahoma', Bailey Zimmerman's 'Hell or High Water', Megan Moroney's 'Never Left Me' and Tucker Wetmore's 'Already Had It.'
Set to drop alongside the film's premiere date on July 19, the star-studded effort will also include contributions from the likes of Shania Twain, Thomas Rhett, Tyler Childers, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, The Red Clay Strays and Miranda Lambert.
The compilation will also spotlight a variety of the genre's up-and-comers, such as Wyatt Flores, Nolan Taylor, Jake Kohn, Tanner Adell, Dylan Gossett, Sam Barber, Conner Smith, Mason Ramsey and Warren Zeiders.
This isn't Wilson's only foray into such a blustery project, her forthcoming album Whirlwind, which is slated for release on Aug. 23, is also expected to blow us away.
