While there ain't no party like a country party, the hoedowns Lainey Wilson hosts right onstage put even those soirees to shame.
During her Thursday night (June 20) set at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY, the 'Watermelon Moonshine' star recruited her supporting acts for a surprise showcase fans won't soon forget.
Country's biggest stars-on-the-rise Ian Munsick and Zach Top, who will be touring alongside Wilson off and on through the rest of the year, joined the hitmaker for parts of her hit-riddled set.
Munsick was up first in the night, taking the mic for a duet of an unreleased Wilson offering: 'Good Horses Always Come Home.'
Later in the night, Top joined the artist for a classic country medley. He lent his Neo-Traditional-tinted pipes to the arrangement of Hank Williams' 'Hey, Good Lookin', Loretta Lynn's 'You Ain't Women Enough', Johnny Paycheck's 'Take This Job And Shove It', Randy Travis' 'Forever And Ever, Amen' and Reba McEntire's 'The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia', a sampling of standards that was then rounded out by Miranda Lambert's 'Kerosene' and Alan Jackson's 'Gone Country.'
Wilson is currently traversing North America on her Country's Cool Again tour, a trek that has already seen her take on Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom. The lengthy jaunt will carry her throughout much of 2024, where along the way, she'll release her highly anticipated album, Whirlwind.
