Lainey Wilson and Shaboozey watched the Philadelphia Eagles’ surprise victory over the Kansas City Chiefs last night (Sunday, February 9th) from the YouTube Music Box.
The duo teamed up for a light-hearted photo together during the game, with both country chart-toppers being invited by YouTube Music to experience the blockbuster match in-person at Louisiana's expansive Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Given the fact that Louisiana is Lainey Wilson's home-state, it felt apt that the ‘Whirlwind’ crooner was in attendance, with Wilson gushing on Instagram, “Loved being back in NOLA”.
With Lainey Wilson and Shaboozey hanging out in New Orleans, after spending some time chatting on the Red Carpet before the Grammy's in Los Angeles earlier in the month, we're hoping this could mean there's a collaboration on the horizon from the duo.
Shaboozey has been teasing new music with a host of artists of late, including Sierra Ferrell and Morgan Wallen, so it seems the ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ hitmaker is hard at work on his follow-up album to 2024's lauded, Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going.
Lainey Wilson, meanwhile, has just revealed she's collaborated with Myles Smith on a revamped version of the UK pop singer-songwriter's much-loved 2024 single, ‘Nice to Meet You’. The uptempo, genre-blending duet drops on Friday, February 10th, with Wilson and Smith sharing a tantalising snippet of the track via socials.
