Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBryde, Lainey Wilson and More to Help the Grand Ole Opry Ring In Its 100th Year

As 2025 nears, so, too, does a special moment in Grand Ole Opry history.

The long-running country music radio broadcast turns 100 in the New Year, a milestone that will be celebrated at great length with a special series of ‘Opry at the Ryman’ shows.

Taking place at the Opry's original home, Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, the institution's centennial celebration will kick off on Jan. 3 with a showcase from the Opry’s longest-tenured member, Bill Anderson. The show will also included appearances from Charlie Worsham, Charlie McCoy, Craig Morgan and more.

In the days following, several Opry veterans like Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBryde, Lainey Wilson, Henry Cho, Gary Mule Deer, Steve Wariner and more will put on their own Opry showcases to ring in its 100th year.

"We’ve spent our first 99 years creating pivotal moments in country music’s history, welcoming new members to the family, watching dreams come true, and providing you with long-lasting memories," Opry organizers shared ahead of the momentous anniversary.

The next year will be spent trying to trump it all.

"We’re pushing the boundaries of country music and the Opry in 2025 with our most ambitious and exciting shows yet," they promised.

Since its debut on WSM radio in 1925, the Grand Ole Opry has had a finger on the pulse of country music, welcoming legends of the past, present and future to step inside its iconic circle.

For its 100th year, the Opry has plans to put on more shows, including a special “Opry 100 Honors” series and 100 Opry debuts throughout the year. The first to make their debut in 2025 will be 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' sensation Shaboozey, who will grace the Grand Ole Opry House on Jan. 18.
