It looks like Josiah Queen's viral, faith-filled earworm, ‘Dusty Bibles’, might be getting a country-leaning revamp, with Avery Anna set to join Queen for a new version of the track.

After Queen reshared Anna's cover of his uplifting anthem earlier in October, it appears the duo then teamed up to record a reimagined take on ‘Dusty Bibles’. They've started teasing the re-release with atmospheric shots of the duo singing in a church.

Anna first uploaded her stunning, stripped-back take on ‘Dusty Bibles’ back in September, with the ‘vanilla’ hitmaker gushing, “we needed this, thank you @josiahqueenmusic”.

Queen responded simply, “Wow”, and it seems the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) and folk genre-blender was so impressed that he decided to ask Anna to jump on the remix with him. ‘Dusty Bibles’ has cemented itself as one of the biggest viral hits of the year, and this will no doubt give it an extra boost as 2025 winds down.

There's no official release date for this rebooted version of ‘Dusty Bibles’ just yet, but we're hoping Queen and Anna's collaboration might arrive this Friday (October 17th).

‘Dusty Bibles’ finds Queen lamenting how modern society places more emphasis on staying up-to-date with the latest iPhone models and other materialistic objectives, while our Bibles remain unopened and gather dust on our nightstands.

It will potentially mark the second high-profile collaboration from Queen in the space of less than a month, with the Florida native teaming up with CCM trailblazer, Forrest Frank, for the joyful ‘JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON’ at the start of October.

Queen continues to establish himself as one of the most exciting new voices in this space, with the ‘Watch Your Mouth’ crooner packaging up soul-stirring messaging with stadium-sized, folk-infused melodies. His sophomore album, Mt. Zion, which dropped in August, has drawn widespread plaudits from fans and critics alike.
