At long last, Morgan Wallen has given his much-loved cover of Nothing But Thieves’ ‘Graveyard Whistling’ a full streaming release, with fans now speculating that the Tennessee native might be teasing a deluxe version of I'm the Problem.
We've always suspected the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper was planning to tag on a a few extra tracks onto his lauded 2025 album (despite it already featuring a whopping 37 songs).
Shortly after its release, Wallen was hinting at an extended version of ‘Interlude’, for instance, as well as dropping a remix of ‘Miami‘ with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.
With Drake continuing to show love to Wallen - such as by wearing a customised Wallen jersey during his recent Berlin concert and walking out with him in Houston earlier in the year - and given how ‘Interlude’ features a very moody, neo-R&B ambience, we're hoping the ‘6 God’ might hop on the extended version.
Now, Wallen recorded his ‘Graveyard Whistling’ cover while he was in the UK for BST Hyde Park back in 2023, and dropped it as part of his Abbey Road Sessions on YouTube the following year. In June 2025, he released it as an Amazon Music Original.
So it's not a new cover, by any means. But the fact that the eerie, Halloween-esque artwork for ’Graveyard Whistling’ takes on a similar aesthetic to I'm the Problem, fans are wondering if this is a clue that Wallen is gearing up to share a deluxe project.
There's definitely something on the horizon, with the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter's official Instagram fan-page, Club Wallen, sharing a countdown to Monday, October 20th. It started with a mysterious picture of a pack of five cigarettes, with the fan-page following this up with a pack of four cigarettes yesterday.
At this rate, it will conclude on Monday, which aptly coincides with the date Wallen is sending his I'm the Problem stand-out, ‘20 Cigarettes’ to Country Radio as his next single.
With Wallen hinting that a 2026 tour announcement is also imminent, we reckon he might be about to unveil his next run of shows on Monday, as well as dropping the music video for ‘20 Cigarettes’, which he teased in his ‘I Got Better’ visuals.
And with ‘20 Cigarettes’ seemingly being the focal track for his next period in Wallen's career, we wouldn't be surprised if his 2026 tour is named The 20 Cigarettes Tour. The plot thickened yesterday when a couple of out-of-the-blue (and since-deleted) reports surfaced online, suggesting Wallen will be playing two blockbuster shows at Michigan Stadium (aka The Big House) in 2026. This is where Zach Bryan recently set a new US attendance record of 112,408, so it would make sense for Wallen to have his sights set on surpassing this on his next tour.
We'll have to wait and see what Wallen has in store for us on Monday, but with a potential new tour, music video, deluxe and maybe even a Drake collaboration, it's shaping up to be a fruitful Fall for the country titan's Wallenteer fanbase.
