Luke Combs has taken to socials to tease that he has a blockbuster announcement coming on October 9th, 2025, and we have an inkling as to what this might be.

Combs has accompanied the news that he has something major on the horizon with an explosive highlights reel from his 2025 run of shows and festival appearances, before hinting that he's got something even “bigger” up his sleeve for next year. He teases, “What comes next is something y’all are going to want to know about. Join my fan club at lukecombs.com to hear about it first. Everyone else finds out THIS Thursday, October 9 at 9 AM ET on my socials and website”.

Now, Combs made a point of not embarking on a full-blown tour this year, so as to be able to spend more time with his wife, Nicole, and his young children, Tex and Beau. Instead, the ‘Hurricane’ hitmaker limited his performance schedule to a handful of bucket-list headlining US festival slots, such as Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo.

As a result, although he and his wife are now expecting a third child, we reckon Combs has his sights set on a return to touring in 2026. Given the promise that things will be “bigger”, we suspect he'll be embarking on a sprawling, expansive stadium tour.

Combs has been packing out stadiums for the past couple of years, so this wouldn't necessarily mark a step forward in itself. What would represent a level-up, though, would be a global stadium tour, with Combs potentially stepping onto the stage at a host of European staples such as London's Wembley, Paris’ Parc de Princes, Dublin's Croke Park, Berlin's Allianz Arena and many more.

The official Luke Combs HQ fan-page on Instagram, which is run by Combs’ team, has added weight to this theory. The page has shared a video featuring clips of the country titan performing inside map representations of the US, Canada and Europe.

Again, this is just speculation at this point, but having made an effort to build a strong relationship with his fans across The Pond, we think this is the natural next step for Combs. Just last month, he hinted that he'd be returning to London, at the very least, when he captioned his Instagram carousel of photos from the Opry 100 celebration at the Royal Albert Hall with, “See you again real soon, London”.

Judging by the cinematic clips in Combs’ latest social media reel, we're also wondering if the ‘When It Rains It Pours’ singer-songwriter might be readying a concert film, too.

He's had cameras at virtually every tour-stop in recent years, and the scale of shows he's been playing would undoubtedly lend themselves perfectly to a film of this kind. We'd love to see a full-scale Luke Combs documentary, but for the time being, we'd make do with a concert film paying tribute to his iconic, rip-roaring live sets.

Combs has already confirmed that there will be a 2026 tour in some shape or form, which is due to be named after his new single, ‘My Kinda Saturday Night’. The rowdy anthem arrived on Friday alongside ‘15 Minutes’ and ‘Days Like These’, with this three-pack EP serving as the tantalising ‘Prequel’ to his next studio album.

We'll have to wait and see what exactly Combs has planned when he drops the announcement on October 9th at 9am ET. One thing is for sure, though - with an album and tour definitely coming in the next 12 months, 2026 is shaping up to be a monumental year for the ‘Ain't No Love in Oklahoma’ crooner's loyal Bootleggers fanbase.
