As the festive calendar gets into the full swing, the excitement builds ahead of one of our favourite Fall events - the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Kick-Off Thanksgiving Show.

Last year, Lainey Wilson took the torch from Dolly Parton as the 2024 Red Kettle Half-Time Show performer, delivering a spectacular set during the Dallas Cowboys’ victory over the New York Giants. Lainey teamed up with Jelly Roll to perform ‘Save Me’, along with an array of stand-outs from her burgeoning catalogue of hits.

Now, as the Cowboys prepare to lock horns with the Kansas City Chiefs this Thanksgiving, the Salvation Army has started teasing the 2025 Half-Time Show performer - and based on the clues, we think it's going to be Cowboys super-fan, Post Malone.

The clip opens with the declaration, “This is gonna be big”, seemingly a reference to Post's Big Ass Stadium Tour, with a massive truck then roll up over the hill. A similarly styled eighteen-wheeler - aptly coloured Bug Light blue, in honour of Post's favourite beer brand - has been used by the ‘I Had Some Help’ hitmaker in a range of promotional videos throughout his F-1Trillion album rollout.

There's a bobble-head of Cowboys icon Dak Prescott on the dash, which could be a veiled reference to Posty's 2018 anthem, ‘Wow.’, when he playfully croons, “Always goin' for it, never punt fourth down / Last call, Hail Mary, Prescott touchdown”.

As the visuals come to a close, we see a shot of a man's legs walking down the steps of the truck, wearings skinny blue jeans and a pair of cowboy boots. While it's hard to identify someone from this alone, this has been Post's outfit of choice lately.

We're keeping our fingers crossed that our suspicions are correct, as Post would be the perfect Half-Time Show star, given how big a fan he is of the Cowboys. He often performs in a Cowboys jersey, and even has his own special Cowboys-themed Raising Cane's. With an announcement imminent, we'll all be shouting ‘Wow’ if the ‘Pour Me a Drink’ singer-songwriter does take the stage this Thanksgiving.

The Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle campaign leads a key fundraising effort over the holiday season, geared towards helping those struggling during this time by providing toys for children, supplies for the homeless, food for the impoverished and more.
