Ian Munsick Announces Deluxe ‘White Buffalo’ Album and Releases New Song, ‘Heartbreak King’

Ian Munsick has announced the deluxe version of his acclaimed 2023 album, White Buffalo, with the Wyoming crooner accompanying the unveiling with the release of ‘Heartbreak King’.

Munsick has been teasing the enchanting, fiddle-driven song across his socials over the past few weeks, and fans are celebrating the fact that it's now out in the world at long last.

The upcoming deluxe album, White Buffalo: Introduce You To God, will arrive on April 5, with the eagerly awaited project set to add five new songs to the original White Buffalo tracklist.

Alongside ‘Heartbreak King’, listeners will be able to hear the titular ‘Introduce You to God’, ‘Yippie-I-A’, ‘Seven Sisters’ and ‘Boots, Buckles & Bolos’, the latter of which appears to have inspired Munsick's sprawling 2024 tour of the same name.

Given Ian Munsick's mission statement of ‘Bringing the West to the rest’, the newly added songs look set to offer fans another welcome dose of Munsick's visceral, Wyoming-inspired imagery cloaked in evocative and unashamedly traditional instrumentation.

White Buffalo was one of the most lauded projects of 2023, so fans will undoubtedly relish the opportunity to hear the brand new tracks, as well as revisiting some of the stand-outs from the initial release, such as ‘Barn Burner’, ’More Than Me’ and ‘River Run’.
