In tandem with Good Friday, Anne Wilson has treated her loyal fans to a deluxe edition of her widely acclaimed 2024 album, REBEL (Revisited), featuring five acoustic tracks.

The project sees the genre-blending singer-songwriter showcasing her enchanting, captivating vocals. On the newly added acoustic tracks, Anne Wilson strips back the arrangements so that the spotlight falls deservingly on her spellbinding, soul-stirring delivery and the uplifting message that underpins these offerings.

The ‘My Jesus’ hitmaker has reflected on the journey she's been on since the release of REBEL back in 2024, “I am so excited to release this special edition of REBEL on the one year anniversary of this album that means so much to me. Since releasing REBEL, life has been such a whirlwind filled with one incredible moment after another”.

Anne Wilson goes on, “Seeing these songs go from the writing room to the studio, from the studio to the radio and finally to the stage has brought me so much joy! I hope these songs have encouraged people to remember that sometimes being a rebel ain't such a bad thing. After all, the one I follow was a rebel like me!”

In a heartwarming socials post accompanying the record's release, the ‘Strong’ crooner has underlined just how touched she has been by fans’ reaction to this era of her music.

Anne Wilson gushes, “This past year of my life has been incredible. REBEL has brought me so many experiences that could have only been orchestrated by the Lord”.

She stresses how much energy she put into this body of work, “I worked so hard on this record and I poured my heart and soul into every single song. I’m so excited the deluxe version is here and these new acoustic tracks are yours. I hope you love it!!!”

Alongside the initial 16 songs, REBEL (Revisited) features acoustic renditions of five fan-favourites from the album, including blockbuster collaborations with Lainey Wilson (‘Praying Woman’), Chris Tomlin (‘The Cross’) and Jordan Davis (‘Country Gold’).

Listeners can also enjoy intimate takes on ‘Rain in the Rearview’, which finds Anne Wilson serving up a vocal masterclass as she encourages fans to hold onto hope during stormy days, and ‘Strong’, another stirring dose of sonic motivation from Wilson.

Completing this REBEL (Revisited) project is ‘Stand’, a solitary single which Anne Wilson dropped towards the end of 2024, and the entirety of REBEL (Live From Lexington).

With Anne Wilson gearing up to join one of the biggest tours in modern music, Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem run, the fast-emerging artist will continue to grow her burgeoning listenership. As she demonstrates throughout REBEL (Revisited), Wilson nimbly fuses country and Contemporary Christian themes and textures in a way few other artists can, consolidating her status as a future star of both genres.
