Holler is excited to announce its partnership with Nashville's premier all-female writer's round, Song Suffragettes.

The newly unveiled media partnership will help to amplify the coverage of the Song Suffragettes’ London residency.

Nashville's weekly Song Suffragettes round has established itself as a one-of-a-kind, trailblazing platform which seeks to elevate the voices of female artists within country music.

Taking place at the iconic Listening Room Café, in the collective's eight years of existence, 30 Song Suffragettes alumni have been given recording contracts, while twice that many have gone on to receive music publishing deals.

Now, the UK instalment is setting out to mirror the success of its US counterpart, and Holler will play a key role in helping Song Suffragettes London to achieve this aim.

The media partnership will involve artist interviews, social media coverage, exclusive line-up announcements and more, all revolving around the Song Suffragettes’ monthly Camden residency.

The partnership will launch at the next Song Suffragettes London event on March 1 at The Camden Club.

The writer's round will feature eagerly anticipated performances from UK powerhouse, Twinnie, along with Rachel Croft, May Payne, Amber T and Laura Beckwith.

Speaking ahead of the announcement, the Song Suffragettes founder, Todd Cassetty, underlined his excitement at the prospect of working more closely with Holler, “Last year during Country Music Week, I met some of the Holler team on a Holler Live Sessions shoot and was immediately taken by their passion for great music and their clear desire to represent talented artists in the best possible light”.

Todd went on to highlight the clear synergy between the two organisations, “Soon thereafter, we launched Song Suffragettes London, and conversations started with Holler around the need to further awareness and opportunities for women in music.

Those conversations led us to a media partnership that we’re thrilled to launch officially with our March 1st show – appropriately at the very start of Women’s History Month.”

Ross Jones, Holler's Editor, emphasised that the feeling is mutual, “We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with Song Suffragettes to present their shows here in London.

The UK has a wealth of wonderfully creative women who deserve to be heard, and there’s no better way of presenting that opportunity than through the intimate and engaged setting of a Song Suffragettes round.

We’ve wanted to expand our focus and coverage into live music since our inception, and to do so in partnership with such a dedicated and passionate platform is a real honour”.

US Country Radio remains male-dominated, but the work of organisations such as Song Suffragettes is already producing visible signs of progress.

Last month, for instance, Lainey Wilson became the first woman in over a decade to have two songs in the Country Radio Top Ten.

Tickets to Song Suffragettes’ March 1 show at The Camden Club are available now, and can be purchased below:
