Two of country's brightest rising stars have banded together to officially release 'Take Me As I Come.'
Evan Honer and Wyatt Flores first teased the acoustic ditty in August 2023 when the pair shared a video of themselves performing the song on a windy mountainside.
Fast forward several months and the duo has announced the collaborative effort will be available on Friday, April 5.
Sharing the news in a post on Instagram, the two young hitmakers sparked excitement among their fans, who flooded to the comments to celebrate. "Finally!! A long awaited collab that’s been needed," one user wrote, with another marking it down as the "Collab of the year." "LET'S GO," several echoed.
While this collaboration is a first from the pairing, Flores and Honer are by no means strangers. The two have spent their budding careers touring together, and they interact on social media frequently. In fact, when the recent news about 'Take Me As I Come' was posted, Flores commented, saying he and Honer were "Just two dudes chillin in a hot tub with socks on making music."
The new single, co-written by the two artists, will arrive just ahead of Flores' Half Life EP, set to drop April 19, and will see Honer through his IDK Sh*t About Tours headlining trek, which comes to a close in May.
