North Carolina's much-loved celebration of all things bluegrass, Earl Scruggs Music Festival, has revealed its 2023 line-up.
It's set to be another star-studded affair, with country legend, Emmylou Harris, heading the bill alongside Greensky Bluegrass.
Joining them will be the likes of Twisted Pine, Jake Blount, The Infamous Stringdusters, Shawn Camp, the Del McCoury Band, The Earls of Leicester and more.
This year's event will also feature a special tribute to the festival's namesake, Earl Scruggs. Scruggs was a musical icon for many in the bluegrass scene, having pioneered the now-renowned ‘Scruggs style’ of playing the five-string banjo.
At last year's inaugural instalment, Earl Scruggs Music Festival attendees were able to enjoy memorable sets from artists such as Leftover Salmon, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Bella White and the Grammy-winning Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway.
All the 2023 acts will be introduced by Jerry Douglas, who will also be performing for the second year in a row.
By the looks of the excitingly eclectic mix of artists on the line-up, the 2023 Earl Scruggs Music Festival looks destined to be another incredible occasion.
