The nights are drawing in, the thick sweaters are coming out of storage and the sun feels like a distant memory. But what if, for one night, we could transport ourselves back to the carefree, beachside vibes of summer and embark on a musical vacation...
Well, maybe we can...Come and join us as we host a special London Beach Party to celebrate the release of Kenny Chesney's brand new book, HEART*LIFE*MUSIC.
We'll be toasting the sun-soaked joie-de-vivre and feel-good spirit that pervades Chesney's discography, with a night of Kenny-themed fun at the UK's Duke's of Highgate Bar. Kicking off at 7pm on Friday, November 21st, there'll be 2-4-1 Kenny-themed cocktails, Kenny Karaoke, giveaways and a Holler Beach Country DJ set.
Hawaiian shirts and tropical, summer-inspired outfits are encouraged, as we'll be transforming London's Duke's of Highgate into a palm-tree-adorned island bar for the evening.
It's a free event geared towards celebrating Chesney's uplifting discography and the arrival of his first ever book, HEART*LIFE*MUSIC, which is released in the UK on November 20th. Seeing as Chesney has never performed on this side of The Pond, we thought it was about time the country star's loyal UK fanbase got the chance to enjoy a hit-filled night honouring his laid-back, coastal discography.
We'll be doing our best to tick off as many of the Knoxville hitmaker's joyful ‘Get Along’ life-instructions as possible throughout the evening (“Get along while we can / Always give love the upper hand / Paint a wall, learn to dance / Call your mom, buy a boat / Drink a beer, sing a song / Make a friend, can't we all get along?”) Well, we might have to leave “Paint a wall” and “Buy a boat” for now, but who knows...
We'll also have signed copies of Chesney's new book, HEART*LIFE*MUSIC, co-written with Holly Gleason, available to purchase at the event. There will be a limited amount of these on-sale, so if you'd like to reserve a copy, please let us know in the form below.
Chesney best summed up the energy of this party in his 2020 anthem, ‘We Do’, when he sang, “We gather tonight for a celebration / Under the flag of a No Shoes Nation / Speakin' our gospel, seekin' our truth / Brothers in arms and sisters in cowboy boots”.
So dust off your finest Hawaiian shirts, tank-tops and flip-flops, and get practising your favourite Chesney tunes for Kenny-oke, because it's time to jump back into summer vacation mode for one more night. We can't wait to see you there!
