Cody Johnson has surged to the pinnacle of the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart this week (October 3rd - 9th), courtesy of the Texan's much-loved 2024 single, ‘The Fall’.
The philosophical offering, which follows in the motivational vein of other CoJo earworms such as ‘Human’ and ‘Til You Can't’, featured on his lauded 2024 Leather Deluxe album.
‘The Fall’ amasses an impressive 1.02 million impressions during the latest frame, enough to stave off competition from previous chart-topper, Jelly Roll's ’Heart of Stone’.
‘Heart of Stone’ is forced to settle for No. 2 with 937,455 impressions, with the Top Five completed by Ella Langley and HARDY's witty ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’ (last week's No. 1), Megan Moroney's infectious ‘6 Months Later’ and Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton's blockbuster ‘A Song to Sing’ at No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
The biggest mover this week is Morgan Wallen's monster 2023 hit, ‘Last Night’, which enjoys a 70% boost in impressions to return to the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart at No. 50.
There are just a couple of new entries on this frame, with Luke Combs‘ ‘Days Like These’ and Annie Keating's ‘Transatlantic Reverie’ debuting at No. 17 and No. 43 respectively.
