Charley Crockett Nominated for 2023 CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year Award

Charley Crockett has been nominated for the 2023 CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year Award, for his 'Time of the Cottonwood Trees' CMT Campfire Session.

Awarded for a musical performance from a production, series or livestream created for CMT digital / social channels, also nominated in this year's category is Chris Young, Ingrid Andress, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney and Scotty McCreery.

The nomination marks the first time Crockett has been recognised in a category at the CMT Awards.

'Time of the Cottonwood Trees' is taken from Crockett's highly acclaimed 2022 album, The Man From Waco.

Having just completed a run of shows in Australia, the Texan crooner is now preparing to embark on a tour of dates across America from March through August.

Celebrated for its high-powered, world-premiere and cross-genre performances, the CMT MUSIC AWARDS have aired live since 2005, delivering Nashville’s biggest party to music fans across the globe.

The 2023 CMT Awards are all set to take place on April 2, airing live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on CBS.

Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown are taking on the hosting duties for the ceremony, with both finding themselves on the nominations list for 2023 too.
