When they arrived at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Wednesday night (March 27), did Zach Bryan fans know what the night's performance had in store for them? Did the headliner's Bruce Springsteen t-shirt give it away immediately?
Maybe it wasn't until The Boss himself made his entrance from offstage and into the spotlight alongside the 'Something in the Orange' hitmaker that concert-goers fully grasped the gravity of this show.
Only a day or so after his own show in San Diego and just 24 hours ahead of his performance in San Francisco, Springsteen made his way to the East Coast for a surprise appearance alongside the country music superstar. Together, they took on a duet of Bryan's unreleased 'Sandpaper.'
In a fan-captured video, the crowd goes wild at the appearance of the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, the song barely audible over the fervent roar of the audience.
But the surprises didn't stop there. Elsewhere in the night, Zach Bryan's one-off collaborator Maggie Rogers made an appearance as well, taking the stage for a rendition of their song 'Dawns,' a much-loved co-write they released in 2023.
All of these unexpected moments throughout the night then culminated in an encore of our dreams, the show coming to a close with the headliner, Springsteen and Rogers all rocking out to Bryan's 'Revival.'
Bryan is currently in the thick on his The Quittin’ Time Tour, which has one more showcase at Barclays on Thursday night (March 28) before moving on to the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York.
