Brett Eldredge is bringing listeners on a brand new “musical journey” with the release of ‘Gorgeous’, which is expected to serve as the lead single from Eldredge's forthcoming album.
It marks the Illinois native's first original non-Christmas release since his 2022 project, Songs About You, which spawned fan-favourites such as ‘Hideaway’, ‘Holy Water’ and ‘I Feel Fine’.
‘Gorgeous’ is a sweet, rose-tinted ode to Eldredge's wife, with the ‘Beat of the Music’ hitmaker delving into all the little things he adores about her across an intimate, sparse guitar riff.
In tandem with the release of ‘Gorgeous’, Brett Eldredge took to socials to explain why this new track holds a special place in his heart, and to underline how he hopes fans will embrace the positive message behind the uptempo song, “My new Single GORGEOUS is out NOW! I am beyond proud and excited for this one!…I hope this song is a reminder of the gorgeous person that you are, even on your worst days, you are more than enough, you’re Gorgeous:) Let. that. sink. IN”.
Brett Eldredge recently teased that he was entering a new musical chapter, giving listeners a hint as to what they can look forward to from his highly anticipated new album.
In a heartfelt post shared last week, Brett Eldredge excitedly reflected, “I’ve been thinkin of different ways to really shake things up with my life and Music. Every time I push myself wayyyy out of my comfort zone I feel the most alive…I have done this personally and now musically with what I am about to hit ya with this year”.
He went on, “I feel loved and accepted more than ever and I feel empowered to put out music in unconventional ways that many may not expect but I know you are gonna love”.
Eldredge concluded, “There will be multiple different styles and sounds, taking you around the globe with me on a musical journey from beaches, to mountains to evening strolls under city street lights…this is going to be a lot of fun…here’s to the next chapter...”
It seems ‘Gorgeous’ will set the tone ahead of Brett Eldredge's next body of work, and although new music from the beloved country crooner has been a long time coming, judging by this latest release, it looks like the album will be well worth the wait.
