Blake Shelton's latest single, 'Texas', has officially secured its second consecutive week atop the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart.
For the frame dated Jan. 31 - Feb. 6, the country pop hit garnered an impressive 890,200 impressions across 118 plays. After nearly three months spent steadily rising in the ranks, the tune earned the No. 1 spot last week and doesn't seem to be letting loose of the position anytime soon.
'Texas' is Shelton's first solo single release in over two years and his first under the care of a new label. He left his longtime home at Warner Music Nashville to sign with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville last fall, and the tune undoubtedly ushers in a new era for the celebrated artist.
Elsewhere on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, Drew Baldridge's 'Tough People' is tailing close behind Shelton at No. 2. Jordan Davis' long-running UK radio hit, 'I Ain't Sayin'', Lainey Wilson's '4x4xU' and Morgan Wallen's newest single, 'I'm The Problem' are currently occupying the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 spots, respectively.
The latter tune is one of the chart's latest additions, Wallen's Jan. 31 release having debuted at No. 5 on the airplay ranking with a massive 673,836 impressions.
One of the week's biggest moves was seen by Canadian singer-songwriter Sacha with her new song, 'Til I Don't.' The track soared from its previous position at No. 34 into the No. 13 spot, boasting a 42 percent increase on the radio chart.
