With only days to go before the release of her highly anticipated Act II: COWBOY CARTER, Beyoncé has shared the track list of the impending album.
The icon took to social media to share a graphic that lists off the songs. Titles like 'American Requiem', 'Blackbird', 'Protector', and 'My Rose' seem likely to appear alongside the artist's previously released 'Texas Hold 'Em' and '16 Carriages'.
A couple of country stars' names also appear, the words 'Dolly P' and 'Willie Nelson' legible within the bold graphic. Whether the two will make appearances on the album is not yet known, but Parton's classic hit 'Jolene' is listed alongside the album's other tracks.
Parton had previously suspected the hitmaker had recorded a cover of her 1973 tune for the release, revealing in a March 8 interview, "I think she's recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it's probably gonna be on her country album, which I'm very excited about that”.
Other song titles included in the recent post include 'Alligator Tears', 'Oh Louisiana', 'Desert Eagle', and 'The Linda Martell Show,' which references the first Black female artist to play the Grand Ole Opry.
Since the album was first hinted at on the night of the Super Bowl LVIII, Act II: COWBOY CARTER, a suspected country album, has been met with its fair share of excitement, curiosity and criticism.
Beyoncé, however, recently set the record straight regarding the album, noting on social media that, "This ain’t a Country album. This is a 'Beyoncé' album. This is act ii COWBOY CARTER, and I am proud to share it with y’all!"
