Bailey Zimmerman and The Kid LAROI Team Up for New Collaboration, ‘Lost’

Bailey Zimmerman is quickly becoming one of the most prolific collaborators in modern country music, with the Illinois native joining forces with the likes of BigXthaPlug, Jessie Murph, Luke Combs, Diplo, The Jonas Brothers, Dermot Kennedy and more.

Now, the ‘Backup Plan’ hitmaker has been spotted wandering through Las Vegas alongside pop phenom, The Kid LAROI. In the clip, Zimmerman can be seen filming through a camera-recorder, sparking speculation that the duo are working on a duet.

A quick browse through ASCAP tells us that - excitingly - a new collaboration between Bailey Zimmerman and The Kid LAROI titled ‘Lost’ has indeed been registered. The Kid LAROI is down as the featured artist, which suggests ‘Lost’ will likely appear on Bailey Zimmerman's highly anticipated new album, Different Night Same Rodeo, rather than being a part of LAROI's second record, WATCH THIS!

Judging by this ASCAP listing, ‘Lost’ was penned by Rodney Clawson, Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard (The Kid LAROI's real name), Ryan Hurd, Michael Lotten and Billy Walsh. Somewhat unusually, the featured artist - LAROI - is credited as a writer on this collaboration, but Zimmerman does not appear to have been involved.

With this momentous duet confirmed, we're wondering if this clip of Bailey Zimmerman and The Kid LAROI in Vegas is a hint that they've been recording a music video for ‘Lost’.

Given Bailey Zimmerman's ability to seamlessly blur the boundaries of various genres, such as country, pop, EDM and trap, and The Kid LAROI's shared penchant for flitting between an array of sonic textures, we think it's safe to say ‘Lost’ will be a certified earworm. There's no release date yet, but we're hoping Zimmerman and LAROI will drop ‘Lost’ ahead of the full album's arrival on August 8th, 2025.
