Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs’ ‘Backup Plan’ has done it again, the song topping the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart for its sixth nonconsecutive week.
During the frame dated July 25 - July 31, the collaboration earned 1.19 million impressions over 120 plays. The numbers are slightly smaller than last week's 1.44 million impressions, but still, the song is showing no signs of slowing in its ascent.
‘Backup Plan’ is set to appear on Zimmmerman's upcoming sophomore release, Different Night Same Rodeo, an album that is seeing a number of guest appearances alongside Combs' feature.
On the chart this week, Jelly Roll's ‘Heart of Stone’ hangs behind at No. 2, with Jordan Davis' 'Bar None' and Luke Combs' 'Back in the Saddle' nearly neck-and-neck at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. Zach Top's summer single, 'Good Times & Tan Lines', rounds out the Top 5.
The week's biggest movement came from Old Dominion and their 'Making Good Time,' which leapt from last week's position at No. 85 into the 33rd spot.
There were a couple of new additions to the chart, with Luke Combs' 'Back in the Saddle' (No. 4) and Ashley Cooke's 'The Hell You Are' (No. 19) both debuting in the Top 50.
