Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs’ titanic collaboration, ‘Backup Plan’, has leapt to No. 1 on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart for the tracking period dated June 13th to 19th.
The much-loved duet, which appears on Zimmerman's forthcoming studio album, Different Night, Same Rodeo, has amassed a whopping tally of 1.31 million impressions.
The rousing, energising track finds Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs trading verses as they encourage the listener to keep chasing their dreams, no matter the obstacles in their way.
Completing this week's Top Five is Russell Dickerson's viral hit, ‘Happen to Me’, Morgan Wallen's ‘I'm the Problem’, Alex Warren and Jelly Roll's ‘Bloodline’ and Scotty McCreery and Hootie & The Blowfish's ‘Bottle Rockets’ at No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
The bigger mover on this frame is Thomas Rhett's sweet, infectious single, ‘After All The Bars Are Closed’, which surges 136% in impressions to land at a new peak of No. 18.
This week also sees brand new entries from Zach Top's sun-soaked, neo-traditional twanger, ‘Good Times & Tan Lines’ (No. 12), along with Carter Faith's ‘Grudge’ (No. 31), Old Dominion's ‘Me Most Nights’ (No. 36), Hailey Whitters and Molly Tuttle's ‘Prodigal Daughter’ (No. 47) and Kathleen Edwards’ ‘Save Your Soul’ (No. 48).
