Ashley Cooke's ‘your place’ has notched a fourth nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, and in doing so, the slow-burning ballad has set a new record.
No other song has spent four weeks at the pinnacle of the listing, with Ashley Cooke's ‘your place’ holding off stiff competition from Post Malone and Morgan Wallen's ‘I Had Some Help’.
Ashley Cooke's much-loved track, which was released as part of her acclaimed shot in the dark record last year, racked up 801,906 impressions during this frame, a slight decrease from the previous tracking period, but enough to hold onto the crown.
‘I Had Some Help’ slots in at No. 2 with 781,194 impressions, with the infectious, uptempo anthem securing Posty and Morgan their first UK Country Radio Airplay chart-topper a couple of weeks back, before ‘your place’ swiftly returned to No. 1.
Nate Smith's fiery heartbreak track, ‘Bulletproof’, secures No. 3, with Shaboozey's viral hit, ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ hot on Smith's heels and surely set to hit No. 1 in the coming weeks. Completing the Top 5 is Dustin Lynch and Jelly Roll's ‘Chevrolet’.
The biggest mover this week is Thomas Rhett's endearing ode to his wife, ‘Beautiful As You’, which earned a 396% increase in impressions, with this week also seeing new entries from Riley Green (‘Good Morning From Mexico’), Carly Pearce (‘Truck On Fire’), The Red Clay Strays (‘Wanna Be Loved’) and Shelby Lynne (‘Lookin’ Up’).
