49 Winchester has gifted fans with the unflinching new single 'Miles To Go', another intrepid addition to their brawny catalogue of fearlessly heart-worn songs.

The latest offering, written by 49 frontman Isaac Gibson, was penned during the group's recent Leavin' This Holler era, but it was left off of the August release and set aside for a rainy day. Well, grab your umbrellas because that day is today.

Gibson took a moment to describe 'Miles To Go', explaining the life of the leaving song as follows: “Sometimes a song just writes itself, and this was one of those songs. I wrote it between cities, somewhere on some distant stretch of interstate, in a matter of a couple of minutes. It’s a leaving song, which seems to have been a big theme on our new album. It was initially a part of ‘Leavin’ This Holler,’ but it wound up being left off for the record to fit on vinyl.”

The song arrives in time to feature on the Season 5 finale of the hit Western drama series, Yellowstone, which airs this Sunday (Dec. 15). The tune's appearance on the show's season closer is a big deal for Gibson and the band.

“For me, there is no better way to debut it than in the final season of ‘Yellowstone,'" the frontman shared. "It’s always such an honor to have the art and sounds that you’ve created put on display in television and film, and Taylor Sheridan has given us, and so many other off-the-centerline country acts, a great platform to do that.”

Another Friday (Dec. 13) release, Ryan Bingham's 'A Song For The Stone', is also set to appear on the series' finale. Bingham wrote and recorded the new number specifically for Yellowstone. In penning the tune, the artist – he also portrays one of the show's fan-favorite characters, Walker – drew inspiration from his experiences on set and as a part of the beloved series.

“It’s been a pretty amazing journey, and I’m honored to just be a part of," Bingham shared in a statement. "It’s taken me a while to write this song, but sometimes you’ve got to live it before you can write it.”
