It's official! Darius Rucker's beloved Riverfront Revival will make it's return to North Charleston's Riverfront Park from October 10-11, 2025.

After an action-packed 2024, the famed South Carolina fest will have a great deal to live up to, but we're confident in what 2025 holds as Riley Green and the festival's overseer himself take the stage.

Alongside them, fans will be able to catch performances from The Red Clay Strays, Dylan Marlowe, Lukas Nelson, Whiskey Myers, Kashus Culpepper and Flatland Cavalry, among others.

Of course, Rucker's longtime band, Hootie & The Blowfish, made a joyful appearance over the course of the weekend, but the 2024 installment also saw performances from the likes of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Revivalists, Paul Cauthen, Jamey Johnson, Hailey Whitters, Shane Profitt and more genre-fluid favorites.

Riverfront Revival

Of the most recent up-and-coming country acts, few have been as refreshing as The Red Clay Strays. 

While their style has a classic feel and their sound is reminiscent of days gone by, their songs are pristine, their words irresistibly singable and their delivery effortlessly cool.

, the South Alabama-formed five-piece – made up of frontman Brandon Coleman, guitarists Drew Nix and Zach Rishel, bassist Andrew Bishop, and drummer John Hall – certainly proved their moment had come. 

They quickly dazzled listeners with their trademark country-fied rock, their smooth, slicked-back ‘Wondering Why’ and their guttural, fired-up ‘Stone’s Throw’ becoming instant favorites from the album.

Throughout 2023, the band continued to awe, treating crowds to their confident and controlled performances onstage at major festivals, as support for some pretty notable stars and during their own headlining trek.

This new year is set to play out much the same for The Red Clay Strays, with 2024 seeing the outfit extend their 28-date headlining run through February and take on even more festival stages beginning in the spring. 

Here’s to hoping new music will be in their future, as well.

Despite never hitting the top spot on the charts, Riley’s double-Platinum single, ‘I Wish Grandpas Never Died’, has gone on to define the sound and themes that underpin Riley Green’s sonic DNA, with the legacy and wisdom of his grandfathers continuing to serve as key inspirations, most viscerally on ‘Numbers On The Cars’, ‘Behind The Times and ‘This Ain’t My Last Rodeo’.

This appreciation for former generations is mirrored by Riley Green’s frequent celebrations of a slower, less hectic way of life, with Riley widely known to be an avid outdoorsman.

It’s a running joke in the country music community that Riley - whose self-bestowed nickname is ‘Riley Duckman’ - only makes new records as a way of funding his main love: hunting.

Riley Green is a flag-bearer for ‘Lifestyle Country’, with one of the Alabama native's most visceral and frequently used muses being the front-porch wisdom of his grandfathers.

The intersection between country and rock has always been a special one, with artists like HARDY, Jelly Roll, Koe Wetzel and others blurring those pesky genre lines more and more with each new release. At its center sits Dylan Marlowe, one of the sub-genre's most voracious students and one of torchbearers for the next generation of country stars.

Hailing from Statesboro, Georgia, Dylan Marlowe grew up surrounded by music. While his mom was an avid country music fan, his father spent his free time as a drummer in a Christian heavy metal band. Picking up a guitar for the first time during his senior year of high school, a young Marlowe began writing songs, pulling from an array of influences ranging from Eric Church and Kenny Chesney to Linkin Park and Blink-182.

After dropping out of Georgia Southern University after one semester, Marlowe eventually found his way to Music City just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Nabbing both a publishing and artist development deal with Play It Again Entertainment, the young singer-songwriter continued to hone his craft while also peppering out videos on social media.

One in particular, his country cover of Olivia Rodrigo's 'drivers license,' gained immediate attention, accruing Marlowe over 500,000 TikTok followers and turning heads at record labels all across Nashville.

Scoring his first No. 1 hit as a songwriter with Jon Pardi's 'Last Night Lonely,' he released his debut EP, 

, in July 2023. By fall of 2024, Marlowe followed it up with the release of his debut full-length, 

, which spawned standout hits spawning standout hits like 'Heart Brakes,' 'Devil on My Shoulder,' 'Stick to My Guns' with Riley Green and 'Boys Back Home' with Dylan Scott.

Texas six-piece Whiskey Myers have marked out a sonic patch of turf that feels immediately recognisable as a concoction of Red Dirt and Southern Rock, with a healthy dose of straight-shooting Rock ‘n’ Roll thrown in for good measure.

Yet when you scratch beneath the surface of Whiskey Myers’ most popular tracks, the terrain becomes a lot harder to map. They’re not afraid to stray from the dirt-road tracks and surprise fans with a gospel-infused anthem or a bluesy twist.

Nonetheless, the songs that have gained the most prominence have been the grittier, Skynyrd-inspired anthems, epitomised on blazing tracks such as ‘Rolling Stone’, ‘Die Rockin’’ and ‘Frogman’.

Whiskey Myers are not afraid to stray from the dirt-road tracks and surprise fans with a gospel-infused anthem or a bluesy twist.

Country artist Darius Rucker's music career started off with a very different sound. As the lead singer for the popular '90s rock band Hootie and Blowfish, he released five best-selling albums. 

Post-Hootie, Rucker released an R&B album, 2002's

, before signing to Capitol Nashville six years later and releasing his debut country album 

The first single from the album, "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" went to number one on the Hot Country Songs chart, making Rucker the first black artist to achieve that accolade since Charley Pride in 1983. He also became the first black artist to win the New Artist Award at the CMAs.

Rucker released his second, third and fourth country albums in quick succession: 2010's 

. In between those, he released the Christmas album 

won the Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance.   

In 2012, Rucker was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.

Rucker was the lead singer of the popular 90's rock band Hootie & The Blowfish but later found his calling in country music.

Hailing from the Lone Star state of Texas, Flatland Calvary is a six-member country band bringing their unique red dirt sound to the mainstream. 

Consisting of Cleto Cordero (bandleader and lead vocalist), Reid Dillon (guitar), Jonathan Saenz (bass), Jason Albers (drums), Wesley Hall (fiddle) and Adam Gallegos (utility instrumentalist), this crew came together as a band nearly a decade ago during their years at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. As the ever-impressive wordsmith, Cordero also serves as chief songwriter for the group.

Cutting their teeth in Texas dancehalls, their music embraces the sounds of their Texas roots, complete with fiddle licks and lots of twang. This authentic sound, combined with touches of folk and Americana, allows them to forge a path all their own amidst the polished Nashville brand of country.

Flatland has seen several of their songs featured on screen over the last few years, including 'Mountain Song' from the hit TV show 

 and ‘Wool’ featured on the most recent 

They built their fanbase and regional success with their first album, 

 in 2019. However, the group really began to gain traction on a wider scale with 2021's
