If you've been around the block a time or two, you know that every year a new slew of festivals pop up seemingly out of thin air.
While there are a lot of duds around the country that fizzle out after an installment or two, a lucky few find their way into becoming the most beloved festivals in the world.
We don't want to make any assumptions, but based on the overwhelmingly successful inaugural Dead Ahead Festival, we feel pretty good that the themed, beach-front festivities will be back in 2025.
Here, we'll have all the up-to-date news on new line-up announcements, the latest ticket and festival pass details, and any further exciting info and details for the 2025 event.
Paying tribute to the Grateful Dead, the first-ever Dead Ahead Festival brought music-lovers from all around the world to the sandy shores of Mexico from January 12-15.
The inaugural installment included two nights of collaborations with icons Bobby Weir, Mickey Hart, Jeff Chimenti, Oteil Burbridge, Don Was & Jay Lane featuring Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Rick Mitarotonda, Margo Price and a very special performance from Sturgill Simpson.
All weekend long, first-year attendees were able to take in a never ending stream of the Grateful Dead's biggest and most beloved hits with additional sets from Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros ft. The Wolfpack, Mickey Hart's Noche De Ondas, Orebolo, LP Giobbi, Sierra Hull, Brittney Spencer, Jaime Wyatt and more.
Though no dates, lineup or event details have officially been confirmed, we're hopeful that festival organizers will be blessing us with the news of another fantastic year in the coming months.
