One of country music's most revered tunesmiths, Sturgill Simpson, will be hitting the road throughout 2025.
Spanning from Europe and the UK, all the way to every corner of the United States, the seasoned hitmaker will be booked and busy through the first half of the year.
Before embarking on his Who the Fuck is Johnny Blue Skies trek in April, Simpson will be bringing his live show across the pond throughout February and March as he wraps up 2024's Why Not? Tour.
Fans will be able to catch him taking the stage Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Belgium and France, as well as in several cities around the UK, including Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and London.
Once back stateside, the new tour will begin on April 5 in Durant, OK. Cruising around the country for the next two months or so, Simpson will make stops in Alabama, Mississippi, Colorado, Washington, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, Minnesota, the Carolinas and more before wrapping up in Columbia, Maryland, on May 24.
Apart from his headlining duties, Simpson will also be on hand at a trio of festivals this summer, including Two Step Inn, FairWell Festival and Bourbon & Beyond.
Simpson will famously not have openers or any support on his Who the Fuck is Johnny Blue Skies? 2025 Tour.
When announcing the dates via social media, the tour graphic even goes so far as to say that "if you're on time, you're late."
Last year, Simpson rung in the tenth anniversary of his iconic 2014 album, Metamodern Sounds in Country Music, with a special 10-year reissue. As one of his most lauded projects to date, it's no surprise that tunes like 'Turtles All the Way Down,' 'Long White Line' and 'The Promise' have find their way into his 2025 set lists.
Beyond that, the Kentucky native also released his Passage Du Desir last July, which includes a smattering of instantly beloved songs that he'll be showcasing throughout the trek, including 'Scooter Blues,' 'Mint Tea,' 'If The Sun Never Rises Again' and others.
