One of the downsides of going to any country show is all the wide-brimmed 10-gallon hats that get in the way when you’re trying to see the stage. But it’s a small price to pay for getting to dress like a real-life cowboy or cowgirl on a night out, even though the closest we’ve ever been to an actual cow is when we were the back end of a pantomime one in a our junior school production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
