Willi Carlisle has confirmed his brand new album, Critterland, will be released on January 26 2024, with the title-track from the keenly awaited project having been made available immediately.
In tandem with the unveiling, the folk-country singer-songwriter emphasised his excitement at being able to announce his highly anticipated follow-up to 2022's Peculiar, Missouri.
Willi Carlisle underlined via his socials, “Produced by Darrell Scott, the album is a love letter to dreams and failures, for friends and lovers lost. Because you know that feeling, I proudly present you the triumphant title track. I hope to sing it with you soon”.
Given the fact that Peculiar, Missouri was widely championed by critics and fans alike as one of the albums of 2022, it's safe to say expectations are high heading into the release of Critterland.
It seemingly won't be too long before Willi Carlisle's fast-growing fanbase across the UK, Ireland and Europe can witness the boundary-pushing maverick perform an array of highlights from Critterland, with Carlisle due to embark on his Fall tour at the end of October.
The ‘Tulsa's Last Magician’ songsmith will be taking the stage across Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands, before bringing his impressive repertoire of fan-favourites to Liverpool, London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Galway, Dublin and Belfast.
